Ways the solution could be improved:
I think that there are many flaws with scratch coding story solution. First is that in general, because this was an easy online coding website, I think that the animation wasn’t great because having to change the look of the sprite character in every single move would have taken too long especially when controlling multiple sprites and creating a script for them. Other than not being able to create a life-like animation of a scratch story, I don’t think that there were any other major flaws. However, there was a flaw in the coding script itself which lacked the choice of being able to merge two sprites. In my storyboard, I wanted to create two sprites of the identical girl which would appear and disappeared. One girl would be merged with the gloves and appear later while the other would not have the gloves and appear first as the starting point to the story. However after I realized that there was no choices/script to allow merging, I had to use an alternative which would have been nearly as effective.
Impact of the solution:
I think that my solution has managed to solve my target audience’s problem. My target audience’s problem was a disease that would internally wound their limbs if they were to come in contact with cold objects. I think that I have managed to solve the target audience’s problem because Raynaud’s disease can’t be cured but it can be relieved by wearing high-density items on your body without touching the cold item. Items such that are made of aluminum are not too heavy and it has a high density per cubic inch. I think that my solution has met the design brief’s most basic and important criteria’s. I don’t think that there are any negative side-effects to this solution but because aluminum is such a high-density item, a large item made out of it would be a bit heavy but it won’t remove the effectiveness of this item.
You have added basic self-assessment and peer assessment of other students work. There is also some information provided about the impact of the solution and ways your solution could be improved. To improve, add more information through assessment tables, adding more explanations why some aspects are met or not met.
